Most Important "Don'ts" In Showing Your Home
  • Never allow someone in your home without a business card. All agents should be able to provide one to you at the door, or enter through the lockbox which records their name and real estate company and the date and time of entry.

  • Never let a buyer see your home without a realtor present. If they say they do not have a realtor, tell them to call your Real Estate agent and allow the agent to arrange the showing of the home to them. Your agent will ensure they are qualified to purchase your home and are a serious buyer.

  • You should never be surprised by a showing. If a buyer comes to your home stating that your agent has sent them over "unannounced", don't believe it. Call your agent first to confirm before allowing strangers to walk through your home. Your safety is of utmost importance. We will never send anyone to see your home without an agent present.
